New video : Discover the SAFARI project

Ports play a critical role in global trade and economies, but with climate change leading to more extreme weather events, their resilience is under increasing pressure. That’s where the SAFARI project comes in.

We’re excited to share a new video that provides an overview of the SAFARI project, an ambitious European initiative co-funded by the Horizon Europe program. The project brings together 25 partners from 10 countries to develop innovative, data-driven solutions that ensure ports remain operational and sustainable in the face of climate disruptions.

In just a few minutes, the video introduces the core goals of the SAFARI project, including the creation of a digital platform for resilient port infrastructure, featuring emergency modules, real-time decision-making tools, and adaptation strategies. It also highlights how the project is being tested across various pilot and replication ports, paving the way for future-proof, climate-ready ports worldwide.
